Archie Stacy
1948—2025

Archie Stacy, age 76, of Debord, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2025, at his home.

Born July 22, 1948, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Florence Stacy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Stacy, son William Archie (Junebug) Stacy; brothers Johnny Stacy, Robert Stacy and Ben Stacy; sisters Perlie Reed, Amy Jane Turner, Outa Stacy and Mary Moore, and one great-grandchild, Areum Wiseman.

Archie was an avid coon hunter and loved spending time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, but especially by those who loved him dearest.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Ann (Messer) Stacy; grandchildren Corey Harper, Shawn Lawson, Audrey Parsons, Bradley Wiseman, Gage Wiseman, Chase Wiseman, Alex Wiseman, Brooke Stacy Wireman, and Lilly and Christopher Messer; great grandchildren Holden Reed, Liam Ryan, Caida Harper, Cameron Harper, Caden Harper, Colten Harper; siblings Doug Stacy of West Liberty, Jim Stacy of Louisa and Nancy Stacy of Inez; stepdaughter Lori (TJ) Messer; special friend Hayes Jude; special brother-in-law Jimmy Dale Messer; a host of beloved nieces and nephew; and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez. Burial followed at the Stacy Cemetery in Debord. Glenn Moore and Freddie Messer Jr. officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
