Patricia ‘Patty’ Ann Bowen
1942—2025

Patricia “Patty” Ann Bowen, 83, went home to Jesus on July 2, 2025.

Born April 11, 1942, at Calf Creek in Inez, she was the daughter of the late Julia Horn Jordan and Oakie Horn.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and wife, Patricia also loved singing in the choir, attending church (at Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene), and working in her flower beds around her home. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Patricia joins her husband, Daniel Bowen; parents, Oakie and Julia; sister, Angie Bowen; and brothers-in-law, Haskel Bowen Sr. and Raymond Hinkle, in Heaven.

She is survived by her son, Marty Bowen; her sister, Garnet Jordan Hinkle; and her brothers, Rickie (Wanda) Horn and Mike (Bonnie) Horn. Patricia is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, whom she loved very much. She leaves behind her caregivers, Wanda Horn and Jordan Hinkle, who were very special to her and cared for her throughout her illness.

Exodus 23:20: “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”

Funeral services took place July 4, 2025, at Callaham Funeral Home in Inez. Burial followed at the family cemetery on Calf Creek.
