INEZ — Judge John T. Chafin heard the following cases June 24 in Martin District Court:

Kathleen Collins (preliminary hearing) — Theft of services $10,000 or more: Reset 7/29/25 at 10:30 a.m.

Krystal Leann Cooper (preliminary hearing) ­— Assault, second degree (police officer); disorderly conduct, second degree; escape, third degree: Waived to grand jury.

Michael Glen Spaulding (preliminary hearing) — Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $1,000-$10,000: Waived to grand jury, bond amended, release on own recognizance to treatment at Serenity Point in Williamson, West Virginia.
