Ronald “Ronnie” Baldwin, 59, of Inez, passed away June 20, 2025.

Born on Feb. 16, 1966, in Louisa, Ronnie lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and deep love for his family and friends.

Ronnie spent over 30 years working in the drywall business, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. A true giver by nature, Ronnie would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He found great joy in visiting his brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and friends, always ready to share a story, lend support, or simply enjoy their company.

Music held a special place in Ronnie’s heart. He loved bonding with others through songs and melodies, using music as a way to connect and create memories with those he loved most.

Ronnie is survived by his loving children, Gaberial (Joshua) Clifton and Alexander (Kayley) Baldwin; his cherished grandchildren, Mason Clifton, Adaline Clifton, and Lainey Baldwin; and his devoted partner, Robin Spence. He is also survived by his siblings: Johnnie (Jeanette) Baldwin, Tommy Baldwin, Dottie (Eddie) Chapman, Lacey (Kathy) Baldwin, Vonia (Everett Ray) Horn, Shirley Morrison, Everett Lee (Mary Ann) Baldwin, Betty (Stan) Ratliff, Ruby Ann Cox, David (Becky) Baldwin, his twin brother Donald (Tamara) Baldwin, and Tracy Baldwin—as well as a large and loving group of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Johnson; father Everett Baldwin; brothers Calvin and Robert “Bobby” Baldwin; and sisters Diane and Arizona Baldwin.

Funeral services took place Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Crum Funeral Home in Inez. Burial followed at the Morrison Cemetery in Debord.

Ronnie will be remembered for his big heart, selflessness, and the deep love he showed to all who knew him. His legacy of compassion and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
