INEZ — Area residents will have the opportunity to sell and shop locally grown produce this summer at a series of farmers markets behind the Martin County Courthouse.

The University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service, in partnership with the Martin County Fiscal Court, will sponsor four market days: July 11, July 18, Aug. 8 and Aug. 15.

Vendors interested in selling produce should register in advance by calling the Martin County Extension Office at (606) 298-7742.

Market days will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
