
Ben F. Boyce
1947—2025
Ben F. Boyce, 77, of Louisa, passed away May 15, 2025, and entered into God’s Kingdom.
Born Nov. 17, 1947, Ben was raised in Lenore, West Virginia. He graduated from Pikeville College with a bachelor’s degree in English before serving in the United States Air Force. He later worked as a coal miner, dedicating 26 years to the profession in order to support his family.
Ben was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Lynn Boyce; his daughter, Lola Brown Boyce; and three grandsons—Benjamin Brown, whom he lovingly raised as a son, as well as Mason Moore and Gavin Bailey. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robyn Moore.
Ben took great joy in yard work and spending time with his family. Known for his kindness, loyalty, and strength, he was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure. His family finds comfort in knowing he is safe in Heaven and watching over them.
At the family’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home in Inez.
