Connie Marie Hyde Blansette
1954—2025

Connie Marie Hyde Blansette, 70, of Pilgrim, passed away May 11, 2025, in Lexington after a period of declining health.

Born Aug. 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Harmon Hyde.

She is preceded in death by her son, Alexander J. (AJ) Blansette; AJ’s father, Max Blansette; and her sister-in-law, Vicie Harmon.

Survivors include Connie’s daughter, Kelly (Chris) Marsh of New Tazewell, Tennessee, grandsons Noah Marsh and Seth Marsh and great-grandson Milo Marsh, all of New Tazewell, Tennessee. Her siblings also survive: Ricky Harmon of Pilgrim; James “Jimmy” (Marilyn) Hyde of Charlotte, North Carolina; Kevin (Kari) Hyde of Stanley, North Carolina; and Karen (Dana) Little of Concord, North Carolina. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Brenda Harmon and Alec Harmon of Pilgrim, Caitlin Crookshanks (Ryan) Curtis of Knoxville, Shawn Crookshanks and Jessica Hyde (Jeremy) Smith, both of Concord, North Carolina, and Jaxson Hyde of Stanley, North Carolina, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, as announced by her family.
