Milton McCoy
1942—2025

Milton McCoy was born Feb. 10, 1942 in Martin County, and departed this life Sunday, May 11, 2025 at his home in Ulysses, being 83 years of age.

He was the son of the late Virgil and Goldie (Blackburn) McCoy.

In addition to his parents, Milton is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis (McGinnis) McCoy; daughter Michelle Lea McCoy; brothers WR McCoy, Lester McCoy and Bradley McCoy; and sisters Marcella Kirk, Vina Delong, Irene Lowe and Mary Ann Horn.

Milton was a member of the Inez Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Milton is survived by his wife, Eloise McCoy, of Ulysses, and two sons, Will McCoy and his wife Tracy of Ulysses and Brian McCoy and his wife Haley of Richmond. He is also survived by one brother, Paul Dean (Dianne) McCoy of Inez, and three grandchildren, Beatrice McCoy, Jane McCoy and Mason McCoy. Additionally, Milton is survived by four stepchildren, Connie Stafford, Diana (Mike) McCoy, Bonnie (Billy) Gilliam and James (Tammy) Jude, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Bro. Phillip Kirk and Bro. James Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home.
