Mance Darrell Gamble
1963—2025

Mance Darrell Gamble, 61, of Inez, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the ARH Regional Medical Center in Hazard.

Born July 15, 1963 in Martin County, he was the son of Rebecca Moore Strickland and the late Ossie Gamble.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Allison Gamble and one granddaughter, Allie Evans.

Mance is survived by his mother, Rebecca Strickland of Inez; two children, Sunshine McMillam of Williamson, West Virginia, and Christopher (Robin) Gamble of Inez; and three grandchildren, Andrew Evans, Audrey Evans and Zoe McMillan. He is also survived by his siblings, Diane and Gary Sams of Annville, Glemia and Terry Dalton, Gary Gamble, all of Inez, Jacqueline and Clayton Smith of Reedsville, Georgia, Joey and Darrell Kidd of Ashland and Emily and Russell Ray of Reedsville, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Hearts of Christ Church in Inez, with Sammy Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Mills Cemetery in Inez. Friends may visit the church Wednesday after 6 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
