INEZ — After dropping three games in a row this week, the Cards are looking for a win. Martin County sits at 8-11 overall on the season and 6-8 in the 15th Region.
MC at Perry County Central – The Cards couldn’t get going against the Commodores and dropped a 10-1 decision on April 29.
Aiden Horn was the lone run for Martin County.
Chase Stacy went 1-3 at the plate when he drove in Horn for an RBI.

Cardinal Aidan Mann took the mound striking out three and allowing four hits.
Martin County’s Knox Maynard delivered four strikeouts and allowed seven hits.

MC at Johnson Central – Despite outhitting the Eagles seven to six, the Cards dropped a 10-4 decision on April 30 in Johnson County.
Things were looking right for Martin County at the conclusion of the first inning with a 2-1 lead.
With Damian Cheek and Aiden Horn sitting on second and third, Chase Stacy singled on a line drive to left field to score his Cardinal teammates.

Johnson Central responded with seven runs over four frames before Martin County was back on the board.
In the top of the sixth, Cheek fired a line drive to right field for a single.
Stacy found his way back to a hit after he clobbered a double-bagger that assisted Cheek to home plate.
Alice Lloyd College commit Ryan Stephens tacked another one for the Cards when he smacked a single to score Stacy.
Stacy led the way batting 2-3, driving in two runners and crossing into home himself.
Cheek collected two hits on the evening and stepped on home plate once.
Stephens had a hit and an RBI. Blake Lemaster and Eli Mills each made contact once.
Horn tallied a run.
On the mound, Caige Presley and Hunter Moore each struck out on Eagle. Presley allowed only four hits and Moore only saw two leave the batter’s box.
MC vs Johnson Central – It was raining buckets in the sixth inning and the Eagles scored five before the delay for a 13-1 win.
Aiden Horn went 2-3 at the plate and stole a base for the Cards.
Dylan Hale rang out a hit.
Blake Lemaster scored the lone run when Cardinal Crayson Lafferty drove him in on a sacrifice fly.

Stacy tossed three innings and struck out two batters. He allowed six hits. Knox Maynard allowed only two hits on 49 tosses.
The Cards will travel to East Carter on Thursday before returning for a home game Friday against Pike Central.
Martin County was scheduled to play Belfry on May 5 and Jenkins on May 6. Details were not available at press time.
