Inez Elementary students Harper Runyon and Serenity Hart earned top honors in the Jim Claypool Conservation Art Contest.
Runyon, a fifth grader, won the county art contest. Hart, a sixth grader, was the county essay winner.
The contest, a long-standing tradition, is sponsored by the Kentucky Farm Bureau in partnership with the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts to engage youth in conservation through writing and art.
Both students received a $25 check in recognition of their achievements.
