Sharlene (Fletcher) Mills

Sharlene (Fletcher) Mills, age 79, of Paintsville, passed away April 27, 2025, at her residence.

She was born May 21, 1945, in Martin County to the late Daniel and Carrie (Branham) Fletcher. In addition to her parents, Sharlene is preceded in death by her husband, Okey Lee Mills, and one brother, Robert Fletcher.

Survivors include her son, Okey Lee (Misty) Mills Jr. of Inez; two daughters, Angie (Phillip) Williams of Inez and Corie Mills of Paintsville; one brother, Danny Fletcher of Inez; and two sisters, Delphine Province of Flemingsburg and Dolly Sandman of Ohio. Sharlene also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Vanessa (Michael) Allen, Jackie Lee “Bub” Blackburn, Lexi Stepp, Dustin (Kenzie) Williams, Kera Dawn (Evan) McCoy, Andrea (Shane Begley) Mills, Hailee Mills, and Braylan Mills. She leaves seven great-grandchildren: Tyler Allen, Ayden Allen, Amelia Stepp, Jensen Stepp, Ellie Stepp, Coleson McCoy and Riley McCoy.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Jimmy Horn officiating. Burial will follow at the Okey Mills Cemetery in Inez, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
