Marlin Ray Evans

Marlin Ray Evans, 28, of Martin County, passed away Jan. 31, 2025, at the Perry County Detention Center in Perry County.

He was born April 4, 1996, in Louisa, the son of Marlena Evans. He is preceded in death by grandmother Velvia Jean Evans, grandfather Willard Ray Evans, and cousins Michael Dustin Workman and Christopher Robert Arrowood.

He is survived by his mother, sister Maely Arrowood, uncles William Ray Evans, Amos Evans, Billy Evans and David Evans, aunt Cory Evans and a host of cousins.

By request of the family there are no services scheduled at this time. His mother asks that friends remember them in prayer. He was deeply loved by his family and friends but by his mother the most. Remember the smiles he spread throughout the world.
