PIKEVILLE — Martin County’s Brooke Marcum was named to the 15th Region All-Tournament team after her stellar performance for the Lady Cardinals last week.
Marcum fired in 16 points and handed out 10 dimes in the 66-61 win at Pike Central in the Super Region. She nearly missed the triple-double with seven rebounds and a block.
The versatile guard scored 16 of Martin County’s 26 points in the 15th Region loss to Pikeville. She also grabbed four rebounds.
Marcum finished the season as the team’s leading scorer at 15 points per game. She was the third-leading rebounder at five per contest.
The junior racked up 82 assists and 49 steals on the year.
