SALYERSVILLE — The Martin County High School boys basketball team coached by Jason “JJ” James are the Tommy’s Auto Sales Players of the Week after capturing their fourth 57th District Tournament title in a row.
The team handled Paintsville 77-63 on Feb. 25 in the opening round at Magoffin County. On Thursday they battled Johnson Central for the championship, pulling away in the second half for an 87-71 win.
