INEZ — DQ fans, rejoice. Inez just got a whole lot sweeter as the DQ Grill & Chill restaurant opened Tuesday in Inez.
The restaurant at 122 Board Walk is owned by Fast Eats, held by Jim Booth, and will be operated by James Mills, both of whom are experienced entrepreneurs and restauranteurs.
Fast Eats also owns the Dairy Queen in Louisa and multiple other restaurants.
Booth and family, along with DQ employees and local leaders, gathered Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting at the new location.
With the support of their store’s manager, Tina Jude, this team will serve Dairy Queen’s iconic menu of sweet treats and fresh meals to the Eastern Kentucky area.
“We’ve had an incredible experience with Dairy Queen thus far, and we’re thrilled to continue to grow with the brand,” said Sandy Feltner, communications director for Fast Eats. “Dairy Queen serves some of the most iconic food in the restaurant industry, and we’ve seen the love people have for the brand firsthand at our Louisa location. It has become a pillar in the local community, and we know that our Inez location will have the same positive impact. We’re proud to be a part of a brand with such a rich legacy, and we share their same commitment to serving the best treats to our customers.”
Fast Eats is committed to stellar service and community involvement, which have proven to be important pillars in their restaurant management style. Feltner says their team seeks to bring that same level of excellence to the Inez location and is well-equipped to continue growing alongside the Dairy Queen brand.
The Inez DQ Grill & Chill features comfortable booths, large wooden tables, warm lighting and upbeat music.
The DQ Grill & Chill concept offers made-to-order lunch and dinner options, including Stackburger, chicken strip baskets and delicious hot sandwiches. DQ fans can also enjoy soft-serve favorites such as cones, sundaes and the signature Blizzard Treat.
