CITIZEN STAFF REPORT
TOMAHAWK — The Stidham Old Time Music Gathering is back—and bigger than ever. The annual two-day celebration of Appalachian roots music lands in Tomahawk on July 25 and 26, promising an expanded artist lineup and ticket prices that won’t break the bank.
Organizers are keeping things refreshingly accessible, offering three pricing tiers: Solidarity/Student ($25), Standard ($35), and Pay-it-Forward ($45). One ticket gets you in for the whole weekend. Pay what you can, or chip in a little extra to help someone else experience the tunes.
And about those tunes—this year’s roster is shaping up to be a banger. The first wave of artists is out, with more names still to come. Expect a mix of old-time mainstays, fresh faces and deep-cut talent from across the region.
