
PRESTONSBURG — Dr. Ryan Quarles, president of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, recently visited Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) to launch the search for the college’s next president.
During his visit, Dr. Quarles hosted a public forum, inviting community members, faculty and staff to share their perspectives on the qualities and priorities needed for the next leader of BSCTC.
“We are excited to kick off the search for the next president of Big Sandy Community and Technical College,” said Dr. Quarles. “I am thankful for the community members who joined us for the public forum on campus last week. Hearing from our stakeholders is essential to this hiring process, and I’m grateful for those who’ve shared their thoughts. I look forward to selecting a candidate who best serves this college and community.”
