LOVELY — Navigating the complexities of government programs should not stand in the way of securing the resources you need. That is the message behind an upcoming virtual workshop led by Spencer Guinn of the Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD). The workshop is designed to demystify the so-called “alphabet soup” of agriculture programs.
The free event, titled “The Alphabet Soup of Agriculture,” will take place Monday, Jan. 27, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., co-hosted by Renew Appalachia, KCARD and Regenerative Farms.
Funded in part by a USDA RBDG grant, the workshop is aimed at farmers and rural entrepreneurs in Martin County and the surrounding area, but organizers say all are welcome to attend.
