Post offices will suspend regular services nationwide Jan. 9 for National Day of Mourning after the passing of former President Jimmy Carter.

The organization will continue accepting and processing mail dropped off by commercial mailers at processing facilities and maintain limited package delivery service.

Regular operations will resume Jan. 10.
