INEZ — Patriot Ambulance EMS is hosting its “Stuff the Ambulance” event to collect toys for children in Martin County. Last Friday, the ambulance was stationed at Blue Light Bargains. This week, Joshua Hunt, station captain for Patriot Ambulance in Martin County, invites everyone to bring donations of new toys to the ambulance parked at Patriot’s station on Blacklog Road.

The organization plans to distribute the donated toys at local schools to children and families in need.

“We’re doing this to help our community and to make Christmas a little brighter for some kids,” Hunt said. “We want to give back and help as many people as we can to have a blessed Christmas.”

In addition to the toy drive, Patriot Ambulance EMS will distribute 15 Christmas dinners, complete with turkey and all the trimmings.
