It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved child, Kennadi Dawn Mollett, 19, who was taken from us too soon on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024.

She blessed our hearts and lives the day she was born—May 11, 2005—at Cabell Huntington Hospital to Robin (Jeff) Walker and Billy (Christian) Mollett.

Kennadi is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Chett and Gay Mollett, paternal great-grandmother Ida Mae Marcum and maternal grandparents Emeroy and Goldie Walker.

In addition to her loving parents, survivors include Kennadi’s three brothers, Brandon (Alexis) Meddings, Brody Mollett and Bentley Chapman; maternal grandfather Gary (Trevra) Walker; maternal grandmothers Sharon (Mike) Knox and Sondra Chapman; maternal great-grandfather Van (Zelma) Marcum; her aunts and uncles, Daniel (Kasey) Walker, Chasiti (Mikie Paul) Stacy and Jessica (Greg) Moore; and her niece and nephew, Blakely Raine and Kingston Lee. She also leaves behind cousins Dakoda Walker, Briley Walker, Trinity Muncy, MaKayla Stacy, Laney Stacy, Savannah Moore and Phoenix Moore; special cousins Jody (Jay) Jude, Lysine Jude, Shyla Jude, Carlie Jude and Jerzee Jude.

She leaves her heart and smile to all her friends and family, along with her University of Pikeville family and her Martin County family.

Kennadi was a real-life beauty queen, beautiful inside and out. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone. She never met a stranger.

Kennadi had a love for basketball, especially Martin County basketball. She also loved cheerleading and had found her place with the UPike Bears.

More than anything, she loved her family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Jimmy Horn officiating. Burial followed at the Walker Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
