Larry D. Brown
1940—2024

Larry D. Brown, age 83, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Nov. 17, 2024, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 30, 1940, to the late Mason and Poly (Johnson) Brown in Barrett, West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by four brothers, Gregory Brown, Richard Brown, David Brown and Daw Brown, and two sisters, Rita Brown and Nancy M. Brown.

Larry is survived by one son, Larry D. (Martha Blackburn) Brown Jr. of Portsmouth, Ohio; two daughters, Sarah D. (Joshua Kelley) Brown of Lawrence County, Kentucky, and Sandra Maynard Perry of Louisa, Kentucky; the mother of his children, Deborah Brown of Inez, Kentucky; two brothers George M. Brown of Inez, Kentucky, and Tom A. Brown of Van, West Virginia. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Whitney Allen, Calvin Perry, Trevor Perry and Reese Perry.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at noon at the Big Elk United Baptist Church in Inez. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
