Wildfires destroy hundreds of acres
Wildfires blaze through the Turkey Creek area Sunday, with Martin County 911 reporting that multiple areas of the county were affected. Over 500 acres had burned as of Sunday, prompting a coordinated response from Kentucky Division of Forestry teams across Eastern Kentucky and Inez Volunteer Fire Department members. Officials advised residents to stay alert and monitor conditions closely.
