Robert Lewis Preston
1958—2024

Robert Lewis Preston, age 66 of Inez, passed away Nov. 5, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born Feb. 6, 1958, in Louisa to the late Bascom Preston Sr. and the late Nola (Cook) Preston.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Preston; two brothers, Johnny Preston and Bascom Preston; and one grandson, Jacob Osborne.

Survivors include Robert’s two daughters, Jessica (Bill) Howard and Amanda (Eric) Jude, both of Inez; one brother, Leonard Preston of Tomahawk; and seven sisters, Evaline Johnson of Mount Sterling, Stella Dillon of Louisa, Norma Jarrell and Julia Chance, both of Tomahawk, Brenda Johnson and Lois Jean Smith, both of Inez, and Ruth Ann Runyon of Louisiana. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Holly (Shawn) Arrowood, Bethany Osborne, Kelli (John Poston) Osborne, Koltan Fletcher and Isabella Jude, and two great-grandchildren, Ebony Arrowood and Aurora Poston.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Preston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
