Minnie Lou (Johnson) Castle, 69, of Tutor Key, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born Jan. 5, 1953, to the late Dock and Myrtle Bowen Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Terry Delone Castle, son Dockie Tolbert Block, sisters Nella Mae Johnson and Anna Lean Fields and brothers Earl Waller, Bill Johnson, Cleve Johnson, Donald Johnson and Roy Edward Johnson.

Minnie is survived by her son Sammy Edward (Tabby) Block of Kershaw, S.C., daughter Crystal Lea (Scott) Dooley of Chesapeake, Ohio, special granddaughter Kayla Alexandria (Nicole) Block of Las Vegas and four other granddaughters Brionna (Justin) Shrum of Lovely, Brittany and Stephanie Block, both of Stepptown, W.Va., and Holly Plummer of Chesapeake, Ohio, four grandsons Shane Block of Kershaw, S.C., Payton Block of Chapmanville, W.Va., Alex Plummer and Grant Dooley, both of Chesapeake, Ohio, and three great-grandsons Hunter and Isaiah Shrum, both of Lovely, and Aiden Chaffin of Paintsville.

She loved her family more than anything and loved to joke around and make people laugh, especially with her brothers and sisters. She was a one-of-a-kind person who will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Anyone who knew her, knew she loved a yard sale.

To honor her wishes, she will be cremated following the services. Rest in peace and fly high with the angels. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
