Billy E. Patrick

1948—2022

Billy E. Patrick, 73, of Inez, passed away May 13, 2022, at his daughter’s residence.

Born Sept. 12, 1948, in Martin County, he was the son of the late William Partick and Ethel Stanley Patrick Cornette. In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Patrick and two sisters, Lois Jean Patrick and Patty Grubb.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Patrick of Debord and William Derek Patrick of Inez; two daughters, Hester (Rodney) Patrick of Salyersville and Vinie Renay Spence of Debord; two brothers, George Patrick of Inez and Sam (Carolyn) Patrick of Warfield; and three sisters, Ruby Whitt of Williamson, W.Va., Sadie Cesco of Prestonsburg and Marlene Stanley of Warfield. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, James (Krista) Maynard, Justin Maynard, Charlene Maynard, Ashley Fannin, Samantha Taylor, Seth Patrick, Joshua Spence, Braxton Spence and Denzel Patrick; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, 2022, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Dallas Patrick and Sammy Ray Patrick officiating. Burial was in the Patrick Family Cemetery, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
