Tommy’s Auto Sales Players of the Week are Martin County’s Crayson “Bones” Lafferty and Tug Valley’s Bryson Elia.

Lafferty is the third leading tackler in 2A at over 14 per game. He had a bone-crushing 22 total tackles in a 35-6 win over Floyd Central on Friday. Ten of those were solo tackles, two for a loss, and one was a sack.

Bones also forced a fumble and ran for 25 yards.

Elia set a single-game school scoring record at Tug Valley on Friday. He threw for six touchdowns in Tug’s 62-12 blowout win over a strong Westside team (6-1).

The All-Stater rushed for 164 yards on 16 carries.

Elia’s contribution in the high stakes game helped Tug maintain its undefeated status and dominant standing as the top-ranked Class A team in West Virginia.
