INEZ — Motorists traveling on Old Route 3 and Johnson Bottom Road in Martin County should expect delays Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Crews from Fredrick & May will be setting beams for the Johnson Bottom bridge replacement project from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work is expected to be completed the same day.
Old Route 3 at mile marker 16.5 will be reduced to one lane with one-way traffic maintained for most of the day. Minor delays are anticipated.
Johnson Bottom Road (CR-1317) will experience moderate to longer delays. Traffic will be stopped while a crane sets each of the eight beams. Vehicles will be allowed to pass between beam placements.
Motorists should plan ahead for delays in the area.
