Gary L. Music

1954—2022

Gary L. Music, age 68, of Boons Camp, passed away April 29, 2022, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg.

Born March 5, 1954, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Doney Music and Betty Mollett Spears. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father who raised him, James Spears, and one sister, Rose Spears (Whid) Daniels.

He is survived by one daughter, Amanda (Scott) Rimar of Butler, Ohio; one brother, Ricky Spears of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister, Wilma Jean Clinage of Mansfield, Ohio; special uncles, Ray Music, Ronald Dean Mollett and Claude Mollett; special nephews, Charles “Pocko” Spears, Robert “Robbie” Spears, Matt Music and Clint Music; special cousin, Ernie Hall; and special cousins through all of life’s adventures, Robert Spears and Oma Spears. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Honesty Rimar and Gabrielle Rimar, and several other nieces and nephews.

Gary was a veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial was in the Spears Cemetery, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
