Eileen Jude

1952–2022

Eileen Jude, 70, of Pilgrim, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

Born Jan. 17, 1952, in Gary, Ind., she was the daughter of the late George Kappos and Jessie Shaukun Kappos.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Russell Jude of Pilgrim; two children, Rusty (Barb) Jude of Lovely and Renee Jude of Chillicothe, Ohio; three grandchildren, CJ Jude of Inez, Tosha (Benji) Blevins of Pilgrim and Dawson Jude of Lovely; and two great-grandchildren, Kash Jude and Madi Jude. She is also survived by two sisters, Florence Noe and Mary Rosser, both of Valparaiso, Ind., mother-in-law, Marie Jude of Pilgrim, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Ford (Alana) Jude, Darlene (Arthur) Robinette, Irene (Jimmy) Fletcher, Ronnie (Maxine) Jude and Janet (Vince) Lowe.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Buck Branch United Baptist Church in Pilgrim, with Terry Harmon officiating. Burial was at the Jude Cemetery, under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
