Gary Allen Chapman
1990—2024

Gary Allen Chapman, 33, of South Williamson, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 6, 2024.

He was born Dec. 27, 1990, the son of Gary (Angel) Chapman and Annie (Ronald) Whetzel.

Gary was a dedicated father, husband and coal miner who worked every day to keep the wolves away.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Daniels Blankenship, grandfather Ancie Daniels, uncles Lawrence Daniels, David Leonard Daniels and Ancie Daniels Jr., and beloved cousin, Daid Crocket Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Chapman and his loving children, Danica, Baily, Jaxxon, Terry, Nicholas Jr., Alexis and Xavier. He also leaves behind his brother Jay (Emily) Chapman, niece Macey, nephew Jaden, cousin Johnny “like a brother” Anderson (Heather and children), and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at the Williamson Memorial Fieldhouse, with Brother Harrison Baisden officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery in Rawl, West Virginia. Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, is honored to serve the family.
