PRESTONSBURG — Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) recently welcomed incoming students with its JUMP 2024 orientation event to help them finalize schedules, explore campus facilities and connect with academic advisors.
The orientation eased the transition into the academic year and gave students a strong start.
Dr. Jeremy Goodson, the college’s Dean of Student Affairs, shared his enthusiasm.
“I couldn’t be happier with how our orientation turned out,” Goodson said. “The energy and enthusiasm from our new students were incredible, and it left me excited about the semester ahead. I’m looking forward to seeing how they’ll dive into their studies, get involved on campus, and start building their futures. It will be an exciting time for everyone here at BSCTC.”
Classes at BSCTC commenced Aug. 19.
