INEZ — Kentucky TRIO and the Commonwealth Educational Opportunity Center TRIO will host a free FAFSA Carnival on July 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Martin County Public Library in Inez. The event aims to assist individuals in completing their 2024-2025 FAFSA.

Attendees can enjoy prizes, food and a movie as part of the FAFSA Movie Night. The first 100 participants will be treated to a free movie at Movies on Main.

Carnival offerings include hot dogs, cotton candy, slushies and other carnival fare as well as popcorn and pop during the movie.

Participants can receive free backpacks and school supplies while supplies last.

Additionally, the first 50 people to complete their 2024-2025 FAFSA will receive a gift card.

FAFSA experts will be on hand to answer questions about financial aid and student loans, even for those who have already filed their FAFSAs.
