Reba Rosanna Speer
1961—2024

Reba Rosanna Speer, 63, of Ashland, formerly of Warfield, passed away at her home on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Born Jan. 14, 1961, in Logan County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sebert Meeks and Hessie Messer Meeks.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five siblings: David Meeks, Howard Burgess, Robert Burgess, Pete Burgess and Jewel Burgess.

Reba is survived by her husband of 46 years, Barry Speer; two children, Karen Speer of Grayson and Jennifer (Thomas) Jude of Lovely; and seven grandchildren, Bradley Howard, Kassie Howard, Haleigh Jude, Chasity Jude, Kaytelynn Jude, Gabby Jude and Gary Michael Hunt Jr. She is also survived by two siblings, Randy Burgess and Gladys Burgess.

Reba was of the Church of God faith.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home Warfield Chapel with Thomas Jude officiating. Burial was at the Warfield Cemetery under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
