Rachel Suzanna Marcum
1972—2024

Rachel Suzanna Marcum, 51, of Mooresburg, Tennessee, passed away July 7, 2024, in Evergreen, Alabama, along with her dog and beloved companion Gracie, due to a fatal motor vehicle accident.

She was born Dec. 8, 1972 in Louisa, Kentucky, to Charles Bruce (Peggy) Marcum and Billie Jean Kilgore Phillips and special dad Kenneth “Kenny” Phillips.

Survivors include her two loving children, Tyler Marcum and Isabella Brewster of Tennessee, and two brothers, James Adam (Summer) Gilman and KJ (Melissa) Phillips. She also leaves behind six beloved nieces, Trinity, Natalie and Emma Gilman, and Kierra, Kylee and Kenna Phillips; two aunts, Lois Fields and special aunt Sharon (Uncle Ricky) Endicott; and a host of cousins.

Rachel loved all of her family.

She was a member of the Hamblen County Garden Club and loved the outdoors, swimming and hiking. She will be missed by all who knew her.

At the request of the family, there will be no service at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
