TOMAHAWK — Mark your calendars for an unforgettable musical experience! The Stidham Old Time Music Gathering will take place from July 26-28 at James E. Webb Musical Repair & Sales in Tomahawk.
This year’s event promises an impressive lineup of performers, including 5-string Kentucky banjo specialist John Haywood, Leo Shannon, Karly Dawn Milner, Kevin Howard, Janean Michelle Freeman, Brian Mollett, Phil Barnett, The Ditch Lillies, John Ryster, Pierceton Hobbs, Steven Arms, Matt Scofield, Matt Evans, Ranther Strother, The Webb Twins, Grace Rogers, Nadia Ramlagan, Blakeley Burger, Adalyn Ramey, Bradley Goble, Pamela Hunt, Nathan Coots and Brayden Mullins. Annabelle Peterman will serve as the MC, with sound provided by Robert Daniels.
In addition to the performances, the festival will feature workshops for fiddle, banjo, guitar and dulcimer throughout the weekend. Food will be available for purchase Friday and Saturday from Last Stop Café.
The Gathering kicks off at 4:30 p.m. July 26 and concludes at 5:30 p.m. July 28 at 1213 S. Milo Road. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy traditional music and arts in eastern Kentucky.
