David Ross Conrad
1948—2024

David Ross Conrad, age 76, of Inez, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family July 5, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 1, 1948, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Ross and Opal (Imler) Conrad.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sue Conrad, one daughter, Rhonda Conrad Lynn, one granddaughter, Heather Nicole Lynn, one brother, Rick Conrad, and one sister, Lori Larson.

He was a member of the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church for 34 years and of the Lake City First Baptist Church in Lake City, Florida, for eight years.

David is survived by his wife, Phyllis Conrad of Inez, one son, Steven (Tammy) Conrad, one brother, Robert Conrad, and two sisters, Deborah Watson and Benda Conrad. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Kaylee (Landry) Woods, two great-grandchildren, Asher and Ruth Woods, his little buddies, Bryson and Brantley Gudgel, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, with Denny Hatfield and Casey Carver officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday, July 8, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
