Cal Ripken All-Stars announced

INEZ — The Martin County Cal Ripken All-Stars were announced June 2 with the District 3 tournament set for June 13-16 at Stonecrest in Prestonsburg.

The 12U softball tournament will take place June 19-22 in Lawrence County.

Bracket drawings had not been announced at press time.

The Martin County 8U coach pitch team is slated to take on Lawrence County on June 13 at 6 p.m. The winner will play Belfry on Friday. The loser will play Saturday at 10 a.m. in the double-elimination tournament.

The 8U selections to be coached by Eddie Lee Howell are Bash Stacy, Collin Chapman, Finley Goforth, Luke Howell, Wesley Gilkey, Maci Yates, Waylon Porter, Braxton Porter, Elijah Mollette, Kashton Jude, Tyler Allen and Zander Tackett.

The 10U squad will go against Lawrence County Friday at 6 p.m. with the winner advancing to play Pike County on Saturday.

The 10U selections to be coached by Chad Williams are Blaine Williams, Jayce McCoy, Kaiden Bertling, Kayden McCoy, Nolan Muncy, Landon Parsley, Parker Stafford, Charlie Burke, Kace Fitch, Kash Howell, Lyric Howell and Rocco Maynard.

The 12U All-Stars received a bye and will face the winner of Lawrence/Pike Friday at 8 p.m.

The 12U selections to be coached by Ryan Wilson are Beckam Spaulding, Brayden Hammond, Davis Wilson, Haden Harless, Mayson Phillips, Patrick Carter, Ryder Duncan, Bentlee Copley, Brock Fields, Gunner Broaddus, Jonah Mills and Ryder Little.

The 12U softball selections to be coached by Jayla Dials are Brooklyn Rush, Gabby Mann, JaLynn McGinnis, Kyla Bragg, Sarah McCoy, Emily Mooney, Harleigh Maynard, Kenadi Fannin, Kiley Wright and Kenleigh Estep.
