OAK HILL, W.Va. — Mountain Music Festival returns to ACE Adventure Resort in the New River Gorge from May 30 to June 1. The festival combines outdoor adventures and live music with mind-blowing visual arts, fun workshops and glorious camping.
The weekend will kick off Thursday night, May 30 at ACE’s The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill with shows from three of the festival’s 18 bands: Minka, Yam Yam and Same As It Ever Was.
Popular bands like Beats Antique, Monophonics, Big Something and Moon Hooch will be performing on the Lake Stage and Main Stage throughout the day and evening on Friday and Saturday.
A wide array of 35 visual artists will be on-site sharing their talents from painting to mixed media, murals, pyrography art, fairytale surrealism and ultra collage.
Workshops will include a hair braiding circle, book readings, Vinyasa yoga classes, hoop dance, sacred art circle, slacklining, theatre games and flow state and soul card art. Festival-goers will get thrilling exhibitions from hoop and fan performers, aerialists, character performers, stilt walkers and a full line-up of fire performers featuring Dragoonis Flame.
Tempting food and creative vendors will also be on hand throughout the weekend.
