INEZ — Martin County High School basketball standouts Brooke Marcum and Chloe May received offers May 7 from Alice Lloyd College to play basketball at the next level.

The two sophomores saw plenty of playing time this season in all 32 games.

Marcum shot 35.1% from the field and averaged 8.7 points per game at the guard position this season. She averaged seven points a game at 39.4% in her freshman campaign. 

May lit it up from behind the arc and nailed 52 3-pointers this season. She pulled down 2.2 rebounds per game in the 2023-2024 season.
