Floyd D. Richardson Jr. of Cotton Hill Road, Crum, West Virginia, passed away suddenly Monday, April 29, 2024, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.
Born April 8, 1964, in South Williamson, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Floyd Sr. and Mary Ellen Stacy Richardson.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Richardson.
Jr was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include the love of his life, Barbara Richardson; son, Joshua (Wynette) Richardson of Irvine, Kentucky; daughter, Lois Richardson and KD Meddings of Cotton Hill, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Rhiannon Richardson, Eislyn Richardson, Sebastian Richardson and Kaiclea Meddings; brothers, James Arthur (Marsha) Richardson of Louisa, Kentucky, and Floyd Edward Richardson of Cotton Hill, West Virginia; sisters, Rita Gail Hampton of Cotton Hill, West Virginia, and Lolita Maynard of Lost Creek, West Virginia; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Riverbend Freewill Baptist Church in Crum, West Virginia, with Greeneway Parsley and Josh Vance officiating. Burial was in the Richardson Cemetery. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield, Kentucky, is honored to serve the family.
