INEZ — Martin County went 2-of-4 last week in games against Magoffin County, Tug Valley and Shelby Valley.
The Cardinals dropped a 4-0 decision to Magoffin County on the road April 20. Then the following day, Martin County thumped Magoffin County 8-3 at Cardinal Park. On Saturday, Martin County lost a close 11-10 decision to Tug Valley before defeating Shelby Valley 10-7 at home.

MC vs. Magoffin
Magoffin County held the Cardinals scoreless in the first contest thanks to Hornet pitcher Lucas Litteral throwing a no-hitter and giving up only two walks.
Chase Stacy started on the mound for the Cardinals, striking out four and allowing four hits and four runs in two innings. Evan Crum threw four innings for the Cardinals, striking out five and allowing no hits. Stacy and Crum combined for 104 pitches on the night.
