1951—2024

Amanda Brewer, 72, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home.

Born July 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Birl and Delphia Copley.

She was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Brewer; brother, Birdie Ray Marcum; sister-in-law, Brenda Marcum; brother-in-law, Edward Salmons; and granddaughter, Katie Bug.

Survivors include her children, Robin Brewer (Boyd Marcum) of Kermit, West Virginia, and Adam Brewer of Charleston, West Virginia; daughter-in-law, Angie Fugate of Warfield, Kentucky; brothers, Tommy (Trish) Copley of Crum, West Virginia, and Delbert Lee Marcum of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Cathy Salmons of Saint Albans, West Virginia, and Alice Copley, of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Damian Sky Johnson, Boyd (Haley) Marcum Jr., Harry (Aysia) Marcum, Kayla Fugate, Tyler Fugate, Michelle Fugate, Camilla Brewer, Amaya Brewer, Addison Brewer; and lots of nieces, nephew and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Golden Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Stonecoal, West Virginia, with Billy Messer and Ken Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Messer-Fields Cemetery. Friends may visit the church Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, is honored to serve the family.
