Public Notice: Inez Power LLC comment period ends May 9

The Energy and Environment Cabinet, Division of Waste Management, received a permit renewal application on March 21, 2024 from Inez Power LLC to extend the expiration date of Permit No. 080-00010 for Inez Power LLC in Martin County to July 6, 2029.

The physical address of the facility is 900 Middle Fork Wolf Creek Road, Debord, KY 41214 and the mailing address is P.O. Box 367, Allen KY 41601. The contact person is John Burke, who can be reached at recyclingsolutionstechnology@gmail.com  or (606) 471-0051.

The facility may be accessed by traveling from US-23N/US-460W toward Paintsville, turning right onto Bays Branch Road, continuing straight on KY 3/ KY 321 N and turning right onto Middle Fork Wolf Creek Road.

The  permit  application  is  being  processed  at  the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Branch, 300 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, KY 40601. The application and related information are incorporated  into  the  administrative record  and  can  be  reviewed  at  the  Division  of  Waste Management’s Frankfort office between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays by appointment only.

To make an appointment or request materials in an alternate format, submit a written request to eec.kora@ky.gov  at least 72 hours prior to the desired review date.

Anyone wishing to request a public hearing or wishing to make comments on the application should submit the request(s) or comment(s) in writing to Danny Anderson, P.E., Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Branch, Second Floor, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601, no later than the close of business May 9, 2024, the end of the 30-day public comment period.
