Calling all rummage sellers and vendors to Spring Market

INEZ — The Martin County Extension office is gearing up for its Spring Market. The one-day extravaganza, set for May 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., invites rummage sellers and local shop vendors to bring their arts and crafts, home goods and yard sale items.

All setup fees from the event will help pay 4-H camp fees for the youth of Martin County.

Hillbilly Hibachi food truck grace the event, donating a portion of its proceeds to the fundraiser.

Extension agents will be on hand to engage with the community, taking applications for the 4-H camp and providing an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and address any concerns they might have. There will also be a table full of literature on family & consumer sciences, agriculture and 4-H programs.

Children aged 6 and under are in for a treat in two small bounce houses. The event will also feature cornhole boards and various outdoor activities throughout the day.

Vendors can secure a spot with a $10 donation, which includes two tables. Those preferring to bring their own setup can make a $5 donation. Reservations for tables will not be confirmed until payment is recorded. Vendors can pay with cash or check.

To reserve a vendor spot, call 606-298-7742.

The extension office is at 9 Holy Street in Inez.
