Billy Joe Moore
1965—2024

Billy Joe Moore, age 58, of Pikeville, passed away April 2, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

Born Aug. 23, 1965, in Louisa, he was the son of the late William Moore and Barbara Watts Porter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, David Moore, and one grandchild, Ashton Kade Nevitt.

Survivors include one son, Shawn (Kandace Wells) Nevitt of Pikeville; one daughter, Danielle (Rodney Bowens) Moore of Louisa; two brothers, Robert Moore of Pikeville and Glenn Ray Moore of Salyersville; and one sister, Jackie Parson of Inez. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Joe Cline, Charlie Cline and Isaiah Cline, his special friend, Robin Spence, and a special niece, Sassy Moore.

At the request of the family, there will be no service. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
