Virginia ‘Jenny’ Moore
1942—2024

Virginia “Jenny” Moore, 81, of Lovely, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio.

She was born March 18, 1942, to the late Joe Howell and Irene O’Dell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Moore, son McKinley Moore Jr., stepson Buddy Ray Moore, and three brothers, Joe, David and Lawrence Howell.

Jenny is survived by her two daughters, Lucy (Paul) Messer and Rebecca Winston; grandchildren, Christina (Randall) Frazier, Monica Moore, Genny (Kyle) Mullins, McKenzie (Wes) Gilbert, Caitlin Winston and Derrick Winston; and two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Osendott and Eric Miller III. She is also survived by two sisters, Arbutus Vance and Debbie (Rusty) Cross and sisters-in-law, Marie Howell and Maria Howell.

Mammie loved spending time with all her family, watching game show networks and beating her grandkids at card games. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Lonnie Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
