Glendene (Horn) Pack
1936—2024

Glendene (Horn) Pack, age 88, of Inez, passed away Feb. 20, 2024, at her residence where she loved to be.

Born Jan. 19, 1936, in Inez, she was the daughter of the late Bascom and Millie (Harris) Horn.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Homer Pack; two stepdaughters, Josephine Pinson and Barbara Bowen; and 10 siblings who loved her dearly—four brothers, Frank (Ruth) Horn, Edgar (Bev) Horn, Sheldon (Hester) Horn and Nebert (Sue) Horn, and six sisters, Annie (Eli) Crum, Stella (Troy) Blackburn, Alberta (Nebert) Jarrell, Aretta (Clifford) Mills, Ida (Enos) Harvey and Alvatine (Ralph) Williams; and one grandchild, Jesse William Muncy.

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy (Paul) Witten of Inez, and two stepdaughters, Sandra Proctor of Ashland and Neva Jean Hatfield of Galena, Ohio. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Emmett and Davie Chafin, and many nieces and nephews.

All her life she was dedicated to taking care of those she loved. Glendene did that job well and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Garrett Mills officiating. Burial was at the Horn Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
