Betty Reedy

1951—2022

Betty Reedy age 70, passed away at her residence in Lancaster, Ohio, April 9, 2022.

Born Oct. 4, 1951, in Lovely, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Della Marcum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Webb, and a sister, Lisa Williams.

Betty was retired and enjoyed working puzzles and doing bead paintings.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Reedy; one son, Brenden Marcum of Bridgeport, Ohio; five grandchildren, Alexus (Mike) Campbell of Zanesville, Ohio, Blaine (Emily) Marcum of Louisville, Cayci (Chase) Marcum, Payden Marcum and Malachi Marcum of Zanesville, Ohio. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Charlotte of Zanesville, Ohio; and eight siblings, Linda Marcum of Ohio, Tommy (Nancy) Marcum of Pilgrim, Tola (John) Hutchison of Branchland, W.Va., Jimmy (Maggie) Marcum of Inez, Donnie (Gwen) Marcum of Liberty, Mary (CB) Foley of Louisa, Pat (Charles) Combs of Dunnville and Jimmy Dale (Ashley) Marcum of Lovely.

The funeral was Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home, with Dorsie Fields officiating. Burial was at the family cemetery on Buck Branch in Lovely, under the direction of Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield.
